Spontaneous Exhibition at AnimeFest
Last week, Lewis and I were volunteering at AnimeFest in downtown Dallas. It was the first convention in a while that we would attend rather than exhibit at.
On the first day, one of the activity rooms became vacant due to a last-minute cancellation. When the news came up, Lewis and I looked at each other and said, “Let’s take it!” And about an hour later, a director at AnimeFest generously handed over the room to us at no charge.
That evening was filled with hectic logistics, as our team rushed to push out a demo and schedule times to operate the room.
And it was a success! Throughout our four days at AnimeFest, we made amazing contacts and received fantastic feedback on our game, Amelia’s Curse. In fact, a couple of our contacts are convention directors who enjoyed our game and will be providing opportunities for Immosis to exhibit at future events this year.
We’ll post convention details as they come.
Oculus Rifts Galore
We’re excited to announce that this past month, Facebook generously donated two Oculus Rifts and Touch Controllers to our team after we sent them our progress on Amelia’s Curse.
This Oculus gear will allow us to release Amelia’s Curse on both Steam and the Oculus Store. We aim to release the game on Steam in the final months of this year, and on the Oculus Store soon after. We’re very excited to work with both VR systems!
Stay tuned for more news from our team!
